One: Switcher device is recognized by computer(windows7, windows10  syestem)

1. switcher device connection；

A computer with vMix software installed；When using the switcher device for the first time, before switching on the software, you must first connect the switcher USB cable to the computer, and then connect the 12V power supply to the switcher.

2. Whether the switcher device is recognized by the computer is successful

1). Click the desktop computer picture and click the right button to find the property.

2). Mouse click on device manager

3). “Sound, video and game controllers” found in Device Manager; the“SMC75-vMix”device will be found in the drop-down menu, the device identification is successful；“SMC75-vMix”is our device name；

Two: Switcher device is recognized by computer vMix software；

1). Open the vMix software and see if the switcher is recognized by the vMix software.

2). Click shortcuts, then click midi settings to enter the next interface;

3). if it is recognized, you can see the SMC75-vMix device, then tick the box, click OK；

4). Confirm OK again and return to the current operation interface;

Three: Import Shortcuts Template

1. Open vMix software click settings；Click shortcuts, then click midi settings to enter the next interface;

2. Click on the shortcuts and click import to import the file entry.

3. Find the path to provide the storage file, double-click to join, click OK, pop-up dialog box, click OK, the vMix software will be restarted, and the shortcut key template is successfully imported；

Four: Add  Shortcuts

1. Open the vMix software and click settings to enter the following interface.

2. Mouse click Shortcuts；

3. Click the mouse Add button to select the function you want to add.

4. For example: set button shortcuts to achieve wipe transition effect;

1) When the mouse clicks find, a dialog box will pop up on the screen, and the above prompts: press the keyboard button or switch the device button;

2). Press and hold the function to be set up dialog box will display the message: MIDINoteOn CH..., release the button will also have a prompt message:

MIDINoteOff CH...; At this point the button has been recognized by the software, click OK;

3). Click OK in the order of 1, 2, and 3 as shown in the following picture; at this time, the button has been defined as the Wipe effect function, which can demonstrate the button definition function;

Five: Set the control of the button indicator by the vMix software;

1. Open the vMix software and click settings to enter the following interface.

2. Mouse click “Activators”；Click the mouse Add button to select the function you want to add.

3. Click the mouse Add button to select Event you want to add.

4. Choose Input，choose type；

5. When the mouse clicks find, a dialog box will pop up on the screen, and the above prompts: press the keyboard button or switch the device button;

6. Press and hold the function to be set up dialog box will display the message:

MIDINoteOn CH..., release the button will also have a prompt message:

MIDINoteOff CH...; At this point the button has been recognized by the software, click OK;

7. Click OK in 3 windows; at this time, the button has been defined as the light effect function, which can demonstrate the button definition function;
